The Haddon Ave Redevelopment Project Initiative is a joint venture with Parkside Business and Community in Partnership (PBCIP) to acquire and rehab ten (10) abandoned, mixed-use and commercial properties on Haddon Avenue in the Parkside neighborhood of Camden, NJ.  The joint venture acquired these mixed-use properties for commercial occupancy and/or live-work retail space.  Haddon Ave is an important neighborhood commercial corridor, known as the “medical mile” which connects two anchor hospitals, Cooper’s Hospital and Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.  The project ensures new energy, hope and life flourishes on Haddon Avenue with the increase in the availability of leasable “turnkey” commercial spaces for small businesses and entrepreneurs.

915 Haddon is a 1.33-acre site on Haddon Avenue in Camden and the building previously served as the Salvation Army Community Center before it closed more than ten years ago.  The proposed plan for the 9,742 SF structure is to retrofit the space into a state-of-the-art banquet facility to meet the growing demand for rental space for special events and repasts.   The free-standing site can accommodate over 70 parked cars, and the site provides two convenient access routes into the site.  The banquet facility will also serve as an in-house catering option for Corinne’s Place, an affiliate of UDP.
